Mayor David Dinkins and Mrs. Joyce Dinkins who were awarded the Pemberton Society's Leadership in Diversity Award by Bank Street President Elizabeth D. Dickey and Pemberton Society President Lucia Jack on Oct. 7th at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem. Darrell & Felice Friedman, Yolanda Ferrell-Brown, Bettye Fletcher Comer, and Kate R. Whitney served as the event co-chairs for this very worthy cause. Students of color will greatly enhance their education through the Joyce and David Dinkins Tribute Scholarship Fund at Bank Street.
